'Last Lap' Television series. Episode Two

Digitex Television is pleased to announce that the second programme in our 'Last Lap' series will be premiered on Motors Television on 4th January 2012 at 17:50 with further opportunities to watch on:-

Episode two is from Brands Hatch and features the final two races of the 2011 Pickup Truck Racing Championship.  The programme is in association with A1 Performance Products and The Chocolate Pizza Company. 

Last Lap’s co-producer is author and motor racing journalist Richard John Neil who says: “Once again the Pickup Trucks produced a sensational finish to the season. Just one race place separated the top two drivers going into the round and after two reversed grid races the same pair were separated by just a single point after full year’s battle.”

Barry Welch, owner of Digitex Television and the programme’s co-producer, adds: “We try to develop entertaining programming and the format of Pickup Truck Racing is ideal for television as overtaking is guaranteed thanks to the reversed grids, identical specification race cars and the added feature of the most successful drivers having to race with additional ballast.”
