Pickup Truck Racing | News | The Taster Day Tasty Draw

With the 2011 'Taster Day' due to take place on Sunday 20th November at Rockingham and also the Children In Need fund raiser coming up soon as well, The Chocolate Pizza Company has come up with a great but simple competition to join the two together and raise some money for a brilliant cause.

The Chocolate Pizza Company will be supplying a 'unique' chocolate pizza as a prize to win in a draw which will take place at the end of the 'Taster Day'. Tickets will be a £1 each and all proceeds will go towards the Children In Need campaign. The target is to reach £200 although of course it would be great to exceed this amount.

Claire from The Chocolate Pizza Company said; "We have been sponsoring the JFF Motorsport hire truck of Stuart Annible and also the #69 ROGERS RACING pickup truck of Lee Rogers for a couple seasons and we were really pleased to be able to support the upcoming TV coverage from Brands Hatch which is due to be aired soon on MotorsTV, so with both our sponsored teams being heavily involved in the organisation of the 'Taster Day', we wanted to get involved and at the same time raise some money for a great cause. The people involved in Pickup Truck Racing are a very friendly bunch so we are sure that we can raise a fair bit of money".

Tickets will be available during the 'Taster Day' at Rockingham on the 20th November and they will also be available at the Pickup Truck Racing 'awards' night on Saturday 12th November. Please either see Claire from The Chocolate Pizza Company, Stuart Annible or Lee and Annie Rogers.
