Updates to 2010 Calendar

Mid season changes to 2010 Calendar dates and Technical Regulations.

The 2010 season has seen some fluctuation in grid numbers with Mallory Park and Brands Hatch road circuits creating the biggest grids.  Date clashes with World Cup Football and the National Hot Rod World Final together with exorbitant ferry costs to be incurred by the teams for the transportation to Ireland has forced the Management Team and the circuit promoters to make the decision to cancel the Mondello Park date and to reschedule the 4 July Rockingham event to later in the season.

In addition a number of technical Regulation changes will be introduced during the remainder of the season to assist in reducing costs to the teams.  The first being the cut off date for the introduction of the new Ford Ranger and GM Isuzu panels. This has now been extended to 31 December 2010.

The Management Team believe the Pickup Truck Racing Championship is in a strong position at the moment with interest being shown by new drivers and teams also renewed commitment from 2009 drivers and team owners to join the Championship when it returns to Thruxton and Pembrey in August.
