Dale Gent has a rich pedigree in the Pickup Truck Racing Championship, establishing himself as one of the series’ leading lights in recent years.

Making a name for himself in the Classic Touring Car Racing Club for a number of years, the 41-year-old made the switch to Pickup Trucks in 2018, making an instant impact as he scooped the Rookie Cup.

Building on the lessons he learnt in his maiden season, Gent’s sophomore campaign saw him challenge for the title as he pushed eventual champion George Turiccki all the way. He would ultimately settle for second overall.

In the subsequent years Gent remained a popular fixture towards the front of the field, tallying multiple race wins and podium finishes. After finishing as runner-up again in 2023, he would finally go one better and capture championship honours a year later.
