Chris Brockhurst will make his first appearance of the 2026 Pickup Truck Racing Championship season at Brands Hatch this weekend (June 6-7) after confirming his presence for American SpeedFest.

Brockhurst – who hails from Chichester in West Sussex – has been a regular feature on the grid of the popular series in recent years, often fighting towards the sharp end of the field.

Making a name for himself in Silhouettes, Brockhurst soon began cutting his teeth in the ultra-competitive Legends Cars Championship before then making the switch to Pickup Trucks with his family-run team in 2023.

On the pace from the get-go, Brockhurst tallied a number of podium finishes in his rookie campaign to finish fourth overall, before then continuing to make his mark the following season.

Despite not being a regular fixture on the entry list last year, Brockhurst did make an appearance at the 2025 edition of American SpeedFest, earning a podium finish in one of the races.

The experienced racer will hope to repeat that feat this coming weekend as he becomes the latest driver to compete in the championship this season.
